Glamorous Lorry Jones, the toast of a Missouri military canteen, has become "engaged" to almost every serviceman she's signed her pin-up photo for. Now she's leaving home to go into government service (not, as she fantasizes, to join the USO). Betty Grable showing a lot of personality! Was almost as if she was the Pin Up Girl (1944) for this release. Other than that, this film symbolizes the fall of two popular pre-war stars, both on support here, with future appearances only being sporadic. Those are Joe E. Brown & Martha Raye, both I love. And I think I enjoyed them more than I did Grable here. Or maybe just feeling sorry for them? Fun unimportant movie.
