The main lead (the lawyer) carries the movie (he has an amazing presence) and the scenario is pretty interesting from the "elements" point of view. But it is a bit too dramatic for my taste and it gets into these heavy-handed social commentary. Being from a conservative society, I do understand the need for this, but it felt too "in your face" to me. Also it is a bit long for the material it has, but I always feel like this about "Court movies" (Accept 12 Angry Men and Primal Fear).

Educating the boys that "No" means "No". I have a feeling the message was probable lost on Indians because they didn't fill the court case with cheesy song and dance numbers. Pure serious business, more suited for a non-Indian audience with another quality performance from Amitabh Bachchan. And that's not a bad thing for it's not only India that needs adjustment in the arrogance of the macho culture.

Storyline is quite good. Though, the message passed by the movie is quite good, social, it looks more like an episode of Savdhan India. Why Amitabh Bachchan has to be what he was shown as... why some courtroom conversation happen which aren't logically related to case and why the information important from legal view is not discussed till the end.
