Pinocchio

Another lesson to us all that movies this old usually pretty much suck, 'cause they were still figuring out how to make movies back then. Besides, that yellow tint gets really old really fast

I saw a fragment of this movie 7 years ago, but finally a restored long version appears of the first ever screen adaptation of Pinocchio. And it stars one of Italy's top slapstick comedians,Polidor! The style won't please everybody with modern eyes, but considering feature films was a brand new thing in 1911 and techniques less refined, they really did put a lot of creative effort into Pinocchio (1911) and made it a fun adventure.
