Another attempt to create the American James Bond. I am so tired of the bad boy, over sexed type of action hero.

I believe this movie is unfortunately a sleeper film. I don't think it got the credit it deserved. Story line was excellent and well followed, the characters were empowering and emotion drawing. I do believe it does have its following and could be one of the early runners for a "comic" to real life movie transition.

Whats up with all the hype about this one? It was fairly average.

I really enjoy this movie. It is creative and although the dialogue isn't so inventive, I think Vin Deisel's biceps help a lot.

A lot of holes in the story plus this feels like the Alien movies. Riddick is badass but I still feel that Alien is much better. Sorry for comparing.

Beautiful SF, good acting, keeps you interested and on the edge of the seat for almost the entire movie.

Such a surprise! a great thrilling and suspenseful and really original movie executed really well. Radha Mitchell had great chemistry with the whole cast including Cole hauser/ Vin diesel. .. this was really Diesel's defining movie for me I've watched it again and again.

Very cool popcorn movie but not enough to get into the all-time top. If there was a popcorn movie rating though, it would get to tier 10 ;)

Ignore the sequels. This movie is cool.

As far as it goes this movie is decent. It has a fairly original plot, memorable characters, and cool action scenes. The only thing I cannot abide by in this movie is that it spawned the horrible, "Chronicles of Riddick", oh well, I will never watch them.

About the total opposite from the sequel "The Riddick Chronicles" this one is a very subtle movie. Not much in the way of special effects, no big space opera, just doing very much with very little. Great movie.

One word, sh*t!

Once you swallow the wholly unbelievable premise, you are treated to a decent if unremarkable science fiction story that actually touches a lot on issues of morality. Some of the acting is a little stilted.

This movie is a must watch for anypne who enjoys sci-fi. This simple yet elegantly executed film, is a love letter to the movie that came before it. Not to be taken too seriously, with comedy sprinkled throughout, and likeable characters.

Interesting movie, it has great visuals, an interesting plot, but spotty acting, and both very good, enjoyable parts, and very bad, corny parts. Visually stunning, with excellent CG and color (during the daytime).

Only worth watching because it's the intro to the Riddick series.

A film with a great premise that has little payoff in the ending.

Surprisingly good second-tier sci-fi. They made the most out of their budget, and though the aliens suffer from some typical monster-movie behaviour, they're sufficiently menacing in combinating with the serial killer Riddick on the loose (possibly Vin Diesel's best role so far). Too bad the butchered Riddick's character in the spinoff 'Chronicles of Riddick', because the characters were the best part of this film.

Light, fun, interesting. Good creature design. Riddick at his finest because n this film he's NOT a badass: he's a sociopathic serial killer.
