Plane Daffy

Up until Daffy shows up this was one of the better more amusing WWII Loony Tunes short Once Daffy enters the picture it's business as usual, which seems to be a good thing for most but just seems to lessen it whole thing for me.

So Daffy Duck is supposed to be immune to the charms of the Nazi spy because he's a woman hater, eh? In Daffy's case I'd buy that, but it would be so much more interesting if he was gay instead. Not that that would ever happen in an American movie of this vintage. That idea's more interesting than any of the stale, predictable gags you see on display here

Much better than all the other war propaganda films of this era. Mainly because, y'know, Daffy.

A sexy female pigeon is spying for the Nazis and seducing all the carrier pigeons. Famous "woman hater" Daffy Duck takes her on. You never really saw these WWII propaganda shorts on TV when I was a kid. I don't really think I was missing much.

Usual WWII Looney Tune with plenty of racy humor.
