Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain

Amusing but suffers from the same issue as all SNL movies. Not enough juice for 90 minutes

Hard to pin down why this loses steam so quickly. Are my reference points too far off for these young whipper snappers? I did start to find their schtick pretty exhausting around half way through but there are far more landing jokes in this than a lot of SNL dreck that has hit the screen. However, in comparison with The Lonely Island and their films, these guys need to put more time in and tighten up the work. The absurdity can fall flat because it's often too predictably or too hastily setup.

This comedy could have used a lot more laughs. The script could have been better, the 3 main characters need more distinct character traits. Overall this comedy is disappointing.

PDD were the first comedy act that made SNL that I followed beforehand. Then I found out two of them are nepo babies, and I had to make a difficult choice to continue finding them funny. I was surprised that they were already going to do a film, mainly because their comedy has been 3-minute comedy sketches confined to their office. But, this is ridiculous and silly, which is mainly what I want out of a comedy.

A one-note comedy that’s sloppily written, poorly acted, and lacks any semblance of an inspired comedic spark.

Silly goofy fun.
