With absolutely no right to do so, this becomes something of interest by simply being bizarre enough to earn your attention. Impossibly, I am finding myself recommending this to people just based on the nutso factor of this otherwise terrible film.

This starts off as a low budget fraternity comedy and it's relatively interesting, mainly due to location shooting and the pledge rituals. When it gets to the slasher stuff, it turns into a poor man's Nightmare of Elm Street clone with with a hippie called "Acid Sid" substituting for Mr. Kruger. That's where my interest dropped and I was pretty relieved when it was finally over. Plus point for the soundtrack.

I liked the fraternity first half a lot better than the gross horror second half. Fav scenes: Freddy Kruger...err...Sid coming out of the annoying kid Alien-style; Sid shoving a baseball bat into a chair and breaking it.

Somewhat entertaining with quite possibly the most jaw droppingly bad ending line.

One of the most boring supernatural slashers I've seen.

Nothing of interest happens for most of the movie. Pretty awful flick.

Despite the obvious similarities to Freddy, I found Sid to be a delightfully unique villain & one of the better aspects. Other positives included the performances, which weren't bad & in the case of Arthur Lundquist pretty darn good, & the great kills throughout the second half. Seeing a bunch of frat dudes as written by a woman was also pretty fun. Still, the ending is godawful & the pacing is wonky, so that drags it down. I did appreciate the social commentary, though. Decent oddball slasher.
