Since it is about animal rights and reflects some of my views on animal rights, I liked the movie. The images are very nice, too. Yet, the story could be developed better.

The story is often lazy, but it gets told so sure-handedly and with such a beautiful aesthetic that it feels like something much more profound than it is.

I'm definitely on board with the movie's message, it has some nice cinematography and a good performance by Mandat, but idk... it's a bit all over the place. The villains are cartoonishly evil yet it doesn't play like a genre movie, there are these inexplicable separate backstories for side characters (some of whom barely feel necessary in the first place), and then the astrology. Idk. Maybe it just wasn't what I expected.

Nature calls. How it is possible to proof to authorities if the nature is the killer? And who was the wereanimal? Agnieszka Holland's film contained a lot good stuff. Characters were well developed, the cinematography was good and the story original. Polish director did not eventually blow enough fire for the story though. The story would work better on way shorter running time.

Absolute terrific egological and psyhcological thriller. Some People may not like the theme of the movie, but it impressed me. Cinematography 10/10, fantastic shot by Dylewska and Paradowski. Very well directed by Agnieszka Holland. Agnieszka Mandat's performance just incredible, she's gorgeous in every scene of the movie. Lastly, Poland's wild life very intriguing; you must watch this movie on a big television. Nature, winter, spring, summer, bugs, wild boars... Everything is great.

This feels like it just misses being great but ends up being a bit of a mess. It's beautiful to look at, Mandat is great (this has to be one of the only movies with a director and lead star both named Agnieszka), but it drags a bit and seems to meander through subplots and side characters a little too often. There are interesting things being said here and it's a bit of a shame, because I get the feeling it could have been something special without changing all that much.

If David Fincher directed a Polish arthouse thriller. Highly entertaining and great cinematography.
