Has its moments, but mostly it seems like somebody saw "Rounders" and said "Hey, I can do that, but for pool!"

Felt tired and rehashed from lots of other better movies. Pretty uninspired. But some of the characters were enjoyable.

A poorly made movie that is fun as all living hell if you're obsessed with pool like I am.

Lacking technically as well as any sort of depth, but if you can clear those expectations, you have an enjoyable easy-to-watch film with the hero winning 'n all. Also, Christopher Walken.

Christopher Walken is the good thing about this film to see. Who names their kid Mars?

When lead actor is also a movie maker, its not a good combination. This movie is anyway so empty of ideas, that even good punch of cast, could not save it.

The interaction between characters, the amazing shots of billiard-marksmanship, and the many similarities to 1998's "Rounders" make this one enjoyable. But in the end, it feels like very little is accomplished, and much of the plot is full of holes. I want to rate it lower, but Christopher Walken won't let me!

Enjoyable but with the odd part reminiscent of Revenge of the Nerds that I wish I had the power to edit out. And I liked Revenge of the Nerds. Almost certainly less enjoyable if you don't enjoy any game with pointy sticks, green velvet and nice shiny balls of some description.
