Poor Pretty Eddie

A barbed wire belt would be somewhere near as uncomfortable as this film will make you. Dread isn't strong enough a word for what is permeating every frame of this film and I chuckled my way through Calvaire! (editor's note: I did not chuckle through Calvaire) Might belong on the Mount Rushmore of movies not to watch on a first date right next to Irreversible, A Serbian Film, and 27 Dresses.

Sometime in the early 70's a couple of guys who made a living filming porn got together and decided to make a 'real' movie, which came to be known as Poor Pretty Eddie. The movie that sucks even by the low 70's exploitation standards. If there will be I'll remember from this film it will be that it was in slow-mo most of the time and made no sense whatsoever. You could say it was weird, but in the most unflattering sense of that word.
