Look, I'm OK with movies about idiots. What I can't stand are *idiotic* movies about idiots (who the movie doesn't even realize are idiots).

Poor Rory Gilmore... First the Rex Fish movie, and now this. She graduates college and tries to sell luggage and belt buckles. Sadly she is unsuccessful, but even more sadly is that this was in an actual movie. I would like to highlight a particular scene but can't think of any. Michael Keaton hasn't been this bad since Multiplicity.

Overwhelming mediocrity. There's nothing offensive about it exactly, but it's absolutely some of the blandest, highest-degree "who gives a shit?" filmmaking I've ever seen. That said, I only watched it because Matt Saracen from Friday Night Lights was in it, and at least it delivered on that count.

Plays like an adaption of a short teen novel that you'd find in a school library. All of the material you'll see is covered much more effectively in weekly tv dramedies - so there's no real need to see it on film. There's no depth, no conflict, all our heroine's challenges pretty much resolve themselves, and the lesson about life that our heroine learns seems a little inconsequential; the film never really explores her vanity, self-deception and arrogance. She's too pretty to be vain I guess.

Disappointing and soulless. The main character is a hard-to-like spoiled brat who has no redeeming qualities except for glossy hair and blue eyes. The male lead is devoid of balls. And worst of all there are no real emotions or moments of poignancy, heartbreak or despair in the film. Since the comedy is not that funny, it really missed having some genuine drama in it. Partial credit for attempting to make the family quirky, but really the script and character development are extremely sub-par.

It's a pretty decent film to watch to relax and pass your time, good romantic moments, and the girl from gilmore girls blue eyes *_*

I love watching terrible movies. I wish I could call this a movie, no. This is just a bunch of famous people gathering around and talking nonsense. I don't believe this is the same Alexis that I saw in Sin City. And god I hate Michael Keaton.

The one scene with Dimitri Martin and Fred Armisen threw me for a loop. A movie that could only exist in 2009
