Prelude 11

Another instalment with more black than white, which for me works better with the colours. Some very cool, but very quick moments in this one.

At least these have a theme, they're all the hand-painted stuff. This is my favorite kind of Brakhage. I admit, though, that's it mainly because they're trippy and beautiful to look at. Brakhage's artistic rationales for these usually sound like hogwash to me, and they are somewhat interchangeable. Also hard to take in large doses.
