This could have been a lot better - not good, but better - if they didn't kill off the only interesting character right away, and if there weren't like three separate instances of "I sort of beat up the guy who's trying to kill me, now let me TURN MY BACK COMPLETELY TOWARD HIM to fiddle with my gun/walk away. . ."

Why bother writing a story, right? Just dump some people in the woods. Some will kill, some will die. Who? Why? Doesn't matter. Start production on the next one.
