Priorities on Parade

A very light propaganda musical with whatever B- and C-entertainers they could scrape up at the time. Somewhat lame, at the same time very upbeat and lively. Jerry Colonna jokes didn't sit well with me. Too easy. The musical numbers where more interesting and the thing which made this a fun picture. Don't go expecting fancy numbers like in the early 30s, but a more working-class and simple approach to reach the people they were trying to motivate for the war effort.
