Far better than it has any right to be, this experimental filming of Romeo & Juliet with young military cadets in the roles (Yes, Juliet is played by a guy) is passionately performed by its hot young cast & shot with an ever-seeking, body-part-tracking handheld camera, deftly uncoupling the play from its theatrical history and therefore the baggage of its literary and literal heteronormativity.
