There is no justice, just catharsis provided by art. Such a poignant take on trauma it's almost unbearable to watch -- in the sense everything feels so painful to these survivors. Gotta love how Greene just takes a step back and let them run the whole thing through talking, writing, directing and sometimes just silently facing their past. The reenactment material is Act of Killing level of disturbing, although with a totally different approach towards memory.

Some of the staged scenes create a very unconfortable feeling (specially the one with the boy in the bedroom). There's a sense of injustice that to a certain extent is justified, but the movie constantly suggests that the justice that was not delivered as wished is necessarily a consequence of bad will, omission or the desire to protect an institution (cover-up) - in some cases this surely is true, but this should not be presumed in all cases.
