Professor Beware's relative obscurity would suggest it's among Lloyd's worst films, but it's actually superior to the likes of Welcome Danger and Movie Crazy. It suffers from most of the usual problems afflicting his talkies, and it takes a while to get going, but once it does the pace is surprisingly lively, and there are a few good set pieces (e.g on a train and a yacht). The hilarious finale of Lloyd aggravating innocent bystanders while eluding his captors is essential viewing for fans.

Harold Lloyd's most obscure sound picture! And pretty much his retirement movie, if one look past the one-off he did for Howard Hughes in '47 when lured out of retirement. And probable the worst feature he did during his career. With that said, Lloyd has one of the best track records of any actor of his generation for high quality output, so even if this one falls below his own standard in creativity, it's still a pretty hilarious on-the-run farce with Lloyd on form with a solid cast behind him.
