Promenons-nous dans les bois

Somehow I missed this back in the day. It doesn’t have the best rep, but I think it’s worth a watch for slasher fans. Visually it’s very strong and makes good use of the villa and the surrounding forest. Direction and editing is a bit lacking and many scenes end up being quite confusing. The script is pretty basic and unable to build proper tension between the characters or make them interesting. It’s not bad for a debut film, but apparently the director hasn’t worked much afterwards.
