Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge

The first and, hopefully, last time in my moviewatching career I was rooting for the Nazis.

"I dunno, just put Nazis in it"

Not good cinema by any stretch of the imagination but it is entertaining simply because of how campy the dialog is and how earnestly the actors deliver it. Then there are the puppets..which are especially memorable in this sequel because we see their origins. The WW2 Nazi plot and set is also fantastic and totally fits in with this sort of bizarre horror film.

While still plagued by poor production, this time, the series is on par with other direct-to-video movies of the era, rather than being on par with other Full Moon movies, which are unquestionably worse. Fortunately, the flagship series for Full Moon has consistently maintained a higher entertainment value than it's Band produced peers. The third installment here has better acting and more Nazis, what's not to like about that?

interesting plot change, even if the previous installments negate all nobility nazi-huntig puppets have. Is it really horror if you want the victims dead?

A little better than the previous ones but still stupid

Minor but OK.

Potentially the best, with a more interesting cast and plotting and some familiar Universal backlot settings. The little guys' franchise possibilities, though, have been pretty much played out.

A sweet prequel that introduces six shooter and provides the origin of Blade, the most bad ass of te puppets. Toulin's killer puppets helped him escape the nazis, I'm for a movie with that plot.

Probably the best of the series! I love the idea behind the puppets' origins.

Bad Movie

The Puppet Master series reaches unprecedented heights of bad taste. Besides that, I found this one slightly less entertaining than the first two movies.

big twist is thrown into the series by part 3 featuring people who can act!Rolfes sympathetic Toulon & Lynch is a born villain.production values are better than I expected they would be. Setting the film in a different time and place gives opportunity to tell a story beyond just puppets rampaging in and around a hotel and feels fresh in the series.puppet rampages are plentiful &look good.puppet&gore effects deliver
