The original Pusher is superior in every aspect, but the UK one does have a good soundtrack and makes for a fun enough watch. Leaving out Frank and Tonny's conversation about Frank and his love interest is a baffling move to me, since those short lines of dialogue really framed their relationship in an interesting light in the original. The lack of focus on that area also makes for a much less impactful ending. Hakan being Radovan sans the duality is also a shame.

Pusher is a poor remake/retelling of Nicolas Winding Refn's brilliant Pusher trilogy. This whole film is a money grabbing con that milks the success of NWR's new film 'Drive'. It's a straight to DVD release that's plastered 'From the makers of Drive' on the case. When actually NWR had nothing to do with this mess. It's set in London and feels like a run of the mill Danny Dyer rip off. Other than a decent performance from Richard Coyle and a good soundtrack the wrest is a complete joke.

Half-assed attempt to reboot the much better original trilogy.

Coupling is probably my favorite television show of all time. Watching Jeff portray an angry, drug-dealing criminal is probably one of the most surreal things I've ever seen in a movie. And that alone was sufficient to make me finish the movie...which I hope to never see again.

There are some REALLY good scenes, but they're strung together with some really weak scenes (marked with pedestrian editing and a lack of pull into the characters and world). But the soundtrack is awesome!

It's unnecessary, yes, but that doesn't mean it's bad. It's pretty good, for what it is, being a faithful remake whilst also being it's own thing, simply because hardly anyone has seen the original, and the soundtrack, by Orbital, is amazing, even if you're not a fan of their other music or scores.

Excellent acting and intense almost constant action. Richard Coyle is gritty and believable. A drug dealer is ripped off and then setup. Hounded by ruthless mob enforcers he becomes increasingly desperately to collect enough money to save his life. Eventually driven to extreme measures. The music is excellent. A lot of dramatic shaky camera action and a surprise ending.

Everything must be Drive and covered in colours and synths you've never even dreamed of

It's OK, but very slight. You never really get under the characters's skin so the sense of panic and dread never builds properly. Richard Coyle is good but I can believe there is a better version of this film.

Nuts'n'bolts London drug thriller with at least one scene for the ol' highlights reel. You'll also never see Jeff from Coupling in quite the same way again.
