If Tim Burton took a lot of Prozac.

Quirky and strange, sometimes it seems as if its trying a little too much, but its definitely original and well made.

I can kind of respect its whimsy and quirkiness from a distance while not really wanting to sink into it. It's just so insanely twee, it kind of makes me gag like eating a spoonful of sugar. I like Bryan Fuller a lot better tempered by the violence and darkness of Hannibal.

Any hopes that I could enjoy this were ruined by artificial quirk-loving art school friends. I do recommend this for those who are fans of Amelie.

A lively and cute show, which sadly pushes its quirkiness too far for my tastes. Most of the plot feels like fanfiction I wrote on livejournal when I was 14 years old, and the characters all have awful personalities and major stupidity issues. The aesthetics of the show are beautiful though (except for the horribly dated CGI every now and then), and it feels good for a show that lasted only two seasons to have a proper ending and feel like a complete product.

Charming show, those who liked The Good Place will like this and vice versa

I can see how this works for an audience (especially for its time) but I have an increasingly limited tolerance for whimsical quirkiness in service of nothing substantial. This derivative & somewhat niche romcom melodrama with a mildly macabre fairytale touch has a distinct charm but plays it too safe, missing its potential to push the weird in a way it implies. I could point to some awful CGI & dialogue but it doesn't seem to matter when the overall tone plays on such cold self-aware irony.

I love this show. Very unique concept, with a great case, that unfortunately got canceled too soon.

A ridiculously charming show with a touch of darkness, but plenty of optimism, bright colours and pie. Pace and Friel have great chemistry.

Even though S2 had a bit of a drop off in quality this quirky and charming show is one of my favorite short lived TV series. I wish it had gone on longer but perhaps two seasons was more than enough.

Such whimsy, quite charming. Has a weird world all of its own

A terrifically mounted show with a great visual aesthetic and likable players that -- strange as it may seem -- simply didn't hold my attention. There are plenty of people for whom it would be perfect, but it was so relentlessly quirky, giddy, happy and stylized that I couldn't find a way into it.

If a mere touch by a person would kill you instantly, what would you do? By this show's retarded TV logic, sit with them in the front seat of a car as if they were completely harmless.

Definitely a lot of Wes Anderson influence here. I appreciate the tone and approach to the filming, but it gets stale rather quickly. I liked Bottle Rocket and Rushmore, but after that it was the same thing over and over for 20 years, and not really terribly stimulating anymore--same thing here. But if you like overly-quirky sitcoms, this may work for you. If I had to compare it to any other television show it would be Family Guy. Pushing Daisies is a live-action Family Guy.

Easily the most colorful and quirky show I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Not at all surprising how rich each character and each story is because it comes from the mind of Bryan Fuller. Hands down the most sweet and original series that I have ever watched and it's themes about love, redemption and second chances are things we should all be thinking about.
