Enjoyable career overview doesn't surpass the special features on Tarantino's DVDs, but it's nice to have everything collated and contextualised backed by an array of first-hand accounts (though suspiciously MIA Thurman is a shame). Some insight from the guest of honour would have also been the perfect bow, but it's still and entertaining and enjoyable ride. Weakest element is its awkward handling of the Weinstein connection, played at times for laughs before swinging into serious mode.

It's difficult to screw these kinds of tribute retrospectives up, isn't it? If you're a QT fan you should enjoy this. If you're not, why are you watching it at all? Perhaps unsurprisingly, given QT's #MeToo via Weinstein connection, the filmmaker presumably felt a "responsibility" to review Uma's car crash (amongst how many injuries?) & have a section near the end on Weinstein. I'm told that QT DID know about what was going on & also that he didn't. This doesn't clarify, so why bring it up?

If you were to ask moviegoers to name the 5 greatest living directors, I wouldn't hold it against anyone if Tarantino's name showed up numerous times in those lists. Dude just lives and breathes cinema and has IMO never made a bad film, and this documentary was - save for all the hypocritical Weinstein stuff - a nice recap of his amazing career so far.
