Quality Street

Something was lacking, but a lot of this was utterly delightful. Nosy neighbor atmosphere with the lying Katharine Hepburn trapped. Estelle Winwood as the busiest busybody was excellent. Hepburn & Tone play off of each other nicely with both knowing how to bring the smile just with the smallest of gestures in this sweet comedy. With a little more intrigue Quality Street would probable have gotten much more appreciation. But as it stands, it's still a comedy full of charm.
