One of those desperate, tone-deaf animated movies that tries to out-Disney Disney and fails miserably. Terrible writing, lackluster animation, and mediocre songs (the most famous of which - the slow and solemn "The Prayer" - is inexplicably used during a wacky chase scene). A sloppy mess best forgotten.

For some strange reason, my wife has a fascination with tragically disabled or horrifically deformed male lead characters, like the blind guy in this movie and the phantom from "Phantom of the Opera". There's nothing wrong with me, though, as far as I can tell. Well ... actually, there was this one time when I woke up with a sharp pain in both of my ankles. The weird part was there was a cinder block in the bed between them. To this day, I can't imagine how it got there.

An absolute failure of an attempt to cash in on the success Disney was having with its animated musicals at the time. Anastasia did a much better job of that attempt.

On paper, with a stellar cast of experienced actors and a fairly novel (if not massively inspired) plot, set in the world of Arthurian legend, this film seems set to be a winner. Unfortunately, it plays out more like a contrived attempt by WB to take down Disney's monopoly on animated musicals. It has little of the charm (and inferior animation) to its contemporaries. The plot seems rushed and the songs shoe-horned in to save on storytelling. Overall, not unenjoyable - but lacking.

A Disney wannabe that fails at almost everything. Terrible animation, awful soundtrack, horrid story and plot. A truly rotted watch all around.

Starts out pretty good, but that doesn't last long. By the time we get to the two headed dragon it's time to shut it off.

Simple in concept - a Disney ripoff with Arthurian elements - but baffling in its design and construction. The characters live not in quasi-medieval fantasy England but on some distant planet (possibly the one from Avatar) with all kinds of strange plant life and environmental hazards. The plot's been chopped into excuses to play the soundtrack, the animation is startlingly high-quality in places and startlingly bad in others, and the villainous plot is nonsense. A fascinatingly odd experience.

Captivated me as a child so I can't judge it too harshly. But yes, it's kinda not very good.

It's one of those films that has the superficial trope elements of a decent animated film- adventure, oddball sidekick, seemingly likable male and female leads, but there's very little to admire beyond that. This one's forgotten to time- for good reason.

I should probably rate this a little lower but this was my favorite movie as a 5 year old so I can't bring myself to rate it any lower than this.

Storia banalotta, con disegni ed animazioni scadenti. Le canzoni però sono molto carine e Proietti da una marcia in più al doppiaggio.

I so wanted to like Quest for Camelot but the combination of the film's unashamed derivativeness, sloppy facial animation, and terrible sound design make it near impossible. The score is obnoxious, lacking any subtlety. The songs are repetitive and go on for far too long. The film also lacks the charm present in other animated features that may have otherwise salvaged the experience.

The dragon was too dumb to be likeable, and the heroes weren't terribly likeable or interesting. Jokes are horrible. Songs are bad. The plot was typical. It's alright. Super generic. Unnecessary hookups by boring characters. Also, the heroine is literally just a watered-down Belle from Beauty & the Beast.

I’ve always been intrigued by the legend of King Arthur, so this title interested me when I came across it. It tries to imitate the Disney formula with poorer animation and songs. It’s like they’ve put all ingredients in a blender without understanding the strengths of the best Disney films, and this is the result. It was refreshing to see a young woman and a blind man as the leads, but the characters were too bland including the run-of-the-mill villain. At least the film is quite short.
