An expression of anger about Katrina and the place of poor blacks in America, and some of what's said is kind of interesting, actually. But at the same time, it has to be said that none of it is very well put together.

if this is supposed to be a sympathetic rendering of a poor black family post-katrina, it failed. in fact it felt as though charles was mocking the victims.

I really want to like this, but I don't really, and it's really just due to the extreme limitations of making this really really low budget short. I think ultimately it would have worked better if it were more of a documentary than a dramatization. If the Lee family were just talking about their experiences, it would have been a lot less stilted and a little less on the nose.
