Ridiculous, Off-brand Terminator Or Robocop

Shots of the robot look like Kenneth Anger shit them out. Richard Gesswein was too good for this world. Time stops watching this movie, I thought it was just about over and I checked the playback counter and TWENTY THREE MINUTES.

Too slow, plodding, and weak-written to succeed as a "so bad it's good" move.

Fun little Texan sci-fi ripoff that reads like the word 'Texas' on a fifty foot neon sign with sweaty guys in wifebeaters off to the side. Especially interesting is the unironic apocalyptic nihilism that thuddingly tries to turn the tale into a Biblical allegory that the movie seems to truly desire. It's like a weird Evangelical sci-fi film that's too chicken to actually engage its philosophy, so it just piles up bad dialogue and bizarre decisions. it's absolutely fascinating is what I'm saying.

R.O.T.O.R is a low budget mashup of Terminator and Robocop where the robot is a cop (like Robocop), a merciless killing machine with no morals or ethics (like Terminator) who performs the duties of judge, jury and executioner (Judge Dredd) that was filmed by people acting in slow motion. Everything moves at such a leisurely pace, it was really quite relaxing. There was also a horse.

An inexplicably poor attempt at an action film.

I watched this with RiffTrax & it still hurt so bad.

Shitty low-budget sci-fi movie that makes for a fun, but slow watch. Self-aware of its poor quality this obvious rip-off of "The Terminator"(1984) and "RoboCop"(1987) is fascinatingly bad.

Shitty, inept, dull a few okay WTF moments.

Shot-in-Texas cheapie Robocop/Terminator rip. Too inexpensively put together to bring its story to life in any way, shape, or form.

Just flat-out BAD. The (bad) dialogue is delivered in such a corny way that it's not even funny anymore.

What the fuck

This certainly has potential to be a solid good-bad movie. It is a bad mish-mash of several different and better movies and is just poorly made at almost every level.

A cheesy movie with shades of second-wave feminism. The robocop terminator mashup you never knew you needed.
