Rails & Ties

Despite absolutely stunning performances by Kevin Bacon (as a tough and hardened railroad engineer) and Marcia Gay Harden (as a wife dying of cancer), "Rails and Ties" flaunts a screenplay that is so miserably contrived that one would think it popped out of a bubble gum machine. It's a very predictable movie with weak dialogue and a stupid premise. topped of with plenty of depression.

superb acting from some, doesnt save the story from being über-boring though

Beautiful. Bacon and Harden are excellent actors who should have more opportunities in the industry. Bravo!
