The wonderfully weird Herzog and all his eccentricities lampooned to great effect led by the almost always hilarious Steve Coogan. What's not to like?

A hilarious mockumentary looking into the making of the madness that is Tropic Thunder.

A mockumentary/behind-the-scenes of the "Tropic Thunder". Makes great fun of Werner Herzog, and "Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse" as the original movie mocked "Apocalypse Now". Other than that, Steve Coogan gets much of the screening time, which is nice, but it generally becomes boring pretty soon.

Very good mockumentary about a very awful movie. Why didn't anybody make fun of Herzog before this?

More top-notch film satire from the Tropic Thunder-'verse, taking aim mostly at Werner Herzog, and of course, Hearts of Darkness. There are dry spells in its brief running time, but it acts as atonement for Coogan's relative lack of screentime in Thunder, while proving Theroux can handle himself quite well in front of the camera. If you loved the movie, you'll enjoy this. It's another dose of stupid humour that's surprisingly intelligent if you know what's being roasted.

Pokes fun at Herzog, Wenders, Hearts of Darkness, and itself: most jokes flatten, while others make the 30-min runtime worth it.

I think I semi-chuckled twice. Poor Herzog impressions and just plain not funny.
