This was a very convoluted mystery with a somewhat unsatisfying ending. The acting was good if a bit over the top, the score was decent and there were a few nice visual touches sprinkled throughout.

Always good to get away from those subtle and overly sophisticated Japanese melodramas for some more low-brow horror/sci-fi stuff. Borderline ridiculous at times, and I guess it had a morbid value. Not exactly the most polished of scripts, and I'm unsure if it'll cause many chills among a modern audience. At least it was something a little different.
