Esse segundo filme da trilogia "Black Society", conta com um protagonista que simplesmente não dá a mínima para nada! Além de uma estória cheia de detalhes sutis e violência estilizada! Ótima pedida para os fãs de Miike. Meu favorito da trilogia.

This guy is like the shortest hitman I have ever seen

Confined to nonexistence, double anonymity, Yuuji the stranded expatriate and member of a clandestine underworld. It might be more interesting if it weren't so modest by Miike's standards, or if it bothered to subvert the tropes upon which it so heavily relies. After everything, it's merely another story about a criminal's hardened heart compromised by the sudden arrival of a young ward and a hooker with a heart. Oh well, it is still very stylish and fun, just lacking some elevating spice.

Just as in the "Shinjuku..." the atmosphere in Rainy Dog is spectacular. Fantastic, deep and engaging cruel story of a hitman and a child. Tomorrow it will stop raining... or not.

The almost constant rain makes for an interesting motif, but the script is slight, generic, and has a complete bullshit ending.

Definetely my favorite part of the black society trilogy... damn I love it. When it rains and I feel like having a beat day I just switch Rainy Dog on and be happy...
