20th Century Fox special! Their first film in 3-Strip Technicolor. The story of Indian girl Ramona with Loretta Young. One problem I had with this film was they they tried to put too much gloss into the drama. But thankfully the actors, and especially Young, managed to get enough personality into their characters and things loosed up and the sweet moments came. They do their best to make the magic happen and while the magic doesn't totally come off, it's a emotional enough experience.
