Random Acts of Violence

I'm not exactly sure the point this movie is trying to make because I feel like it kept flip flopping between viewpoints every ten minutes. Some good kills though, but the body part work left a little to be desired.

GREAT effects on the kills and a banger of an opening credits sequence. Pretty stupid but I guess it might win an Oscar this year since nothing else is coming out

I really wanted to like this because I like Baruchel, but the movie feels pointless. First good effort at directing at least.

Some decent visuals and stylistic choices but full of dumb horror movie decisions and tired plots that have been done before. Good as background noise but pretty unmemorable so wouldn't put much effort into this watch.

I was given an advanced screener for an honest review - which I'll post on YouTube on August 17th, but here's a quick review anyways - it's okay. It's unoriginal in its foundation and the cinematography leaves a bit to be desired, but it has decent visuals and editing. So, it has it's positives and negatives.
