Rapt (1934) is a visually engaging and atmospheric creating from Dimitri Kirsanoff, the man behind the critically acclaimed silent film Ménilmontant (1926). About a mountain girl that gets kidnapped and how her relationship with her kidnapper develops. Barely any dialogue, being driven by expressive images as if it was made during the silent era. Becomes a little quirky because it feels like it's trapped between two mediums, but this is a cult film well worth ones time.
