Lovely, carefully crafted -- shots of dogs watching football on TV and kids playing foootbal are just sublime -- film about the few great encounters in life -- and how sometimes we need help of magic (two lovers frustrated by an evill spell, changing their lives -- different actors play them, given how strangers they become to each other --, meeting again because a film crew is making a documentary on couple's expressions). Low fantasy at its best, also making Messi's Argentina win a World Cup.

Koberidze's form matches his narrative by encouraging the unpredictable, going off on unusual and highly delightful tangents like a long sequence about the football-watching habits of the dogs that roam Kutaisi (and there are only a few moments of unchecked whimsy, like a title card that instructs the audience to close their eyes at a particular point in the film). It suffuses a familiar concept (young people bumbling around a city) with a lot of grace and humor.
