Re: Born

The action set pieces were good and well done but the movie itself looked and felt low-budget as does most of Tak's output. The story is very threadbare and not well told but once again it's the action that matters, but even here this felt more like a bunch of set pieces versus being part of a greater whole. The film needed some fun moments or at least some gravitas to help anchor things and to pull me into the story but sadly this was where the film was lacking the most.

The coolest, slickest, best action movie I've seen in a long time.
