A massive money loser for RKO in it's time, it pretty much made sure Ina Claire never would become a star in Hollywood. And it's understandable, for this is a pretty tedious rebound melodrama which soaks itself in sappy self pity. Thankfully it didn't kill off Myrna Loy's career, as she went on to better things. But sadly for the forgettable leading man Robert Ames, things went worse, dying just months after this massive failure. Sad all around.
