Danish resistance comes to the big screen from Bodil Ipsen and probable to a lesser degree Lau Lauritzen considering this was a more mature film than the light rubbish Lauritzen's filmography consists of. Honestly, I felt the production was a little too much on the economic side, but it was well-acted and it kept a fine tone without going overboard with anything. And that became the strength of [Red Meadows, as Poul Reichhardt goes through torture, loss of friends and trying to escape the Nazis.
