Red Planet Mars

Heavy handed and politically motivated communication with space, or more precise, Mars. So over-the-top propaganda based that it takes all the fun out of exploring the Universe. In a way, that's also why I find it fascinating, experiencing the various ways the space age was communicated in this era. The production was polished, so it's more how you approach the film that decides how well you get through it.

Blatant propaganda with crappy acting and a frivolous agenda despite its interesting sci-fi elements.
