For me, not as good as the Death of Superman movie. The new Supermen are interesting, but I'm not sure, it just didn't draw me in all that much.

Watched as part of The Death and Return of Superman. Well Superman didn’t stay dead for long. Even though it’s a little silly in places, I enjoy this one as much as the 1st one. Lex Luther becomes more interesting character. The pacing is slightly better, and some of the seemingly random characters now make a bit more sense.

seems like it would have been much better in comic form. a lot of the story is nonsensical, as if big chunks of it were cut out. Wonder Woman and Lois Lane are impossible to tell apart and I wasn't sure which was which the entire time.

Özellikle özgün senaryosunun sayesinde genel olarak başarılı buldum. Son zamanlarda DC tarafında büyük bir tutukluk var ne film ne de doğru düzgün animasyon çıkaramıyorlar nihayet bu kötü gidişe bir dur diyebilmişler gibi görünüyor. Çok iyi değil ama en azından başlangıç.

This is a definite step down from last years film mostly for similar reason why the first film fail to live up to the hype. They messed with the story again. Both by simplifying the story and by changing the backstories and creation of many of the characters. Kal-El's reappearance was under whelming to say the least. The story need to be told in long format as like a 3 season event series with time and money put into it. All that being said this was still a very fun and entertaining watch.

Overall, these two comprise a decent recounting of a classic story. Between the two we get impressive action and cool superhero story-telling. In cramming it all into two 80-some minute entries, we get the essence at the cost of much of the emotion, but I guess I'll have to accept that. Not bad

"Ugh, there are too many Supermen"; to quote my 8 year old. Which empathizes why comic book heroes are for adults now, and not kids. They try too hard to make things complicated and confusing, losing the motivating factor of good old fashioned "Good vs Evil". Regardless of the modern approach, Reign of the Supermen (2019) was one of the better DC animated films. I found myself intrigued by the plot enough to enjoy it.

Solid "Superman back from the dead" movie. Superhero reflexes and skills for Lois. Pet peeve: everyone in the world is model figured (except for the elderly Kents). I liked Lex Luthor in this. Something Something Something Darkseid. "My final secret is I love you"??? Superman's laser vision, which is a skill he really underutilizes in most adaptations in favor of fisticuffs instead. Fav scene: Clark's alibi.

This and Death of Superman aren't great movies but they're entertaining and this one is a little better. Has a cool premise, I don't know how it changes from the comics so I don't care, and the premise is realized decently well. Fun fight scenes, some heart, some humour, but they did the Justice League really dirty. Seriously, that's how you incapacitate them?
