I think there was promise in the screenplay, which is why talent like Brosnan and the great Chris Cooper signed on, and there are good moments scattered throughout, but it is inconsistent and seems to be unsure of what story it is telling. Pattinson surprised me at times, and disappointed me at others, and it is probably largely his fault both that film doesn't feel terribly cohesive and that it was marketed as a romantic film for Twilight fans, which isn't what it wants to be.

Intriguing drama has many fine elements, including a superb, touching supporting turn by Brosnan, and likable performances from Pattinson and De Ravin, but the film is ultimately defeated by a muddled screenplay which seems uncertain whose tale it is telling, and is fatally compromised by a borderline tasteless resolution which attempts to find greater meaning in its original story, but only succeeds in trivialising itself and the event it depicts.

We get to see a bunch of obnoxious characters full of anger and pretentiousness, and the whole movie is just them exploding with random physical and emotional violence. Anger creates anger; by the middle of the film i was wishing that a plane would drop on every and each of those characters. Applauded the ending.

An incredible acting performance from Robert Pattison, which actually makes you forget he ever starred in the Twilight film series. Emilie de Ravin (Australian girl from Lost) does a convincing job as well. The script is almost perfect. The music is great, and the directing is decent. All of this coupled with a great ending gives you an interesting, at times amusing, emotional tale. This was so much better than I could ever have expected.

This one is fairly well made movie, nearly getting offset by a terribly offensive closing image. Never thought I would be accepting this, but Pattinson does come up with a sincere performance. This is what he does when he is not drooling over Bella and bitching about Jacob, he acts!

First time I've seen de Ravin not cast over her head, and the first time I've seen Pattinson not cast under his. Very pleasing performances, very solid film. Is the end jarring? Yes. Does it take away from the experience? Maybe. Does it add more to it than it takes away? You know it. Suffers from an awful lot of loose ends and a general feeling of immense unfocusedness but really, I just had a great time. A very human film.

Robert Pattinson's ego project is a slow-paced uninteresting romantic drama with a surprise twist that pulls the rug underneath the viewer but fails to justify itself.

This movie was very suprising. The acting from everyone was amazing, but the ending makes the movie. I highly recommend it.

Whether or not Remember Me is successful will be almost exclusively determined by how much the ending affects you. If you are still bored, it means the characters did not make you care about them, and you will feel like it was a waste of time. If you feel strong emotion, whatever it is, then I would say that the film did its job. For me, it was moderately successful, but if the characters started as better people, it probably would have been a greater watch.

Robert Pattinson's acting was surprisingly amazing and completely different from his former roles. The two main characters both have complicated and difficult pasts that eventually attracts them to one another. However the beginning and ending were devestating and somewhat took away from the movie. Although the beginning and ending are not the most uplifting, the relationships that were formed were reassuring that love can prevail.

A quite conventional and cliche love story, but there's something about that I really love. Solid performances, good writing and I think the ending is rather well done albeit an utter shock.

I liked this story a lot. Pattinson was good and so was majority of actors. But in the end, before the very end, you know, the whole thing collapsed. Everything writer was building become sleezy mediocrity. The remember me part I kind of accepted but everything before it was the downhill. And so went the very end down the drain with it.

So I'm just sitting there, watching this movie... And I'm thinking "there've been some dramatic bits here and there, and it's definitely keeping my interest; But I feel as if it's dragging out a tiny bit" and I wonder if it's nearing a climatic point because if it doesn't before it ends I know I'll hate it. And then BAM! Climax. And then I'm bawling my eyeballs out. Well played Will Fetters. Well played.

Lacked focus. It could've been REALLY great but it was just okay. The overall execution missed the mark. Being a fan of LOST, I'm a fan of de Ravin, but she didn't come through in this one for me. Pierce Brosnan was fantastic. And Pattinson was close enough. The lessons and messages were pretty strong though despite wonky lapses throughout the film.

Top badass moment? Our hero's flatmate going to see our hero's (recently) ex-girlfriend, to explain that the reason they split up is the flatmate's fault and not our heroes. Taking one for the team, even if it is partly your fault, is honest and brave, therefore badass. PS. It doesn't work in real life so don't bother trying it. 0 cats and 0 decapitations.

Robert Pattinson is an amazing actor. His timing and physical acting are spot on. However, the manipulative ending ruined the film and completely tore down any and all character development in a way that feels like the filmmaker didn't believe in the rest of the movie holding up or the acting pulling through. It really would have been better even if R. Pattz just like, got hit by a car. Pulling 9/11 into it to 'make people care' is an insult to the effort the actors put into their characters.

The major problem with Pattinson's ascendancy to the Dean throne: His soulfulness is a pose, an effect achieved more by hair and makeup (and yes, genetics) than the scenes where he's required to emote at high volume.

I was very surprised how much I enjoyed this film. I really cared for the characters. The beautiful Emilie de Raven transformed her Australian accent and fit the New York scene just fine. Robert Pattinson was great, he really proved himself amidst the terrible Twilight Franchise. Many claim the ending to be cheap, but I disagree. It was as sudden and surprising as it should've been.

[May contain spoilers] Deterred by all the bad reviews I avoided this movie a long time, now I'm glad that I finally gave it a try. I liked the characters ( the whole cast acts really good), the funny jokes which relaxed the dramatic plot, the score, and I really liked the sad ending for just one reason: It's a slap in the face for all those who expected an happy end after nearly everything turns out to be good in their life. The final "punchine" was subsidiary to me.

Pattinson of "the Twilight saga" and de Ravin of the TV series Lost do a generally credible and at times mortifying job of behaving like young people trying to impress one another when they hardly yet know who they themselves are, and when they are each having to deal with pre-existing tragedies and troublesome fathers (Brosnan, Cooper, respectively).

First off: The film seems to be shot with no lighting, all flat black and gray-green images with an occasional plaque yellow. Dialog seems mostly ad lib. Probably due to lack of script/story line. Peirce Brosnan appears for a cameo and tries to save the film, but he's just not enough against the juggernaut of this tanker.

This was Pattinson's redeeming hope after Twilight. Unfortunately, it hits you in the head like a train and makes you feel terrible. Good or bad, that's what will happen when watching this film.
