A films about the importance of good role models and of "young" love. Claudette Colbert was 38 at the time having her on-screen romance with John Payne, 9 years her junior. Anyway, this is a well-meaning picture, almost too good, with Colbert making it worth your time. They could have put a lot more drama into this, but clearly decided to keep the mood pleasant eliminating the tragedies to a bare minimum.
