In Texas, the aspirant actress Nicole Carrow runs away home to Los Angeles with her boyfriend Jess Hilts. They drive through a shortcut in an old road, and when they park in a rest stop, Jess is abducted by the sadistic driver of an old yellow truck. Something has to be said when Joey Lawrence is the strongest actor in the film. Have I said enough? No? OK, how about the resolution of this film makes you question why you sat through it.

A movie that started off pretty strong just gets dumber as it goes along. The main character did just about every dumb thing you wold think a person wouldn't do except in horror movies. Really bad ending as well. Can't wait to see the sequel!

Still a horror movie working with being gross instead of scary, but it still manages to take its time in the scenes, which brings some "realism" and psychology to the whole situation; that makes it stand out from regular teen horrors.

"Take my gun. I want you to shoot him." "I don't know how." Point and click! It's a pretty basic concept! That's the problem with characters in horrors! They are so conveniently stupid! I've never seen a horror with even one believable character: villain, hero, or extra.
