Thrillers promise an exciting twisting story that draws you in and keeps you guessing as it unfolds with compelling characters and situations. This is a bad thriller for many reasons, the biggest of which is that its trying so hard to embrace the depth that "thriller" carries that they have forgotten the most important part - remaining believable. Eventually it gives up and just turns into a generic action film, at least then it stops trying to be something it isn't, which is a good film.
