Corrigan is great as always. Loved him playing the guitar. Nice to see Smulders in something again. Exacerbated situations undercut by real feelings. Funny.

There's something to be said for watching what might be called a romantic comedy and coming away without feeling that the filmmakers were actively working to make you dumber, but were instead seeking to show you something significant about particular human beings. That Bujalski succeeds in bringing his characters to a moment of vulnerability while retaining his comic sensibility shows off his skill as a writer and director. Danny is also another of Bujalski's wonderfully bizarre third wheels.

Jumped on this new Andrew Bujalski movie as soon as I found it available to watch. Somehow it happened that I have sort of emotional relationship with couple of his films; I still remember how I watched Mutual Appreciation like ten years ago, and how much of a novelty mumblecore was for me. Skip to 2013, and my life is in ruins, I watch Computer Chess and first time in month I think to myself - good thing I'm still alive to see this. Results is another Beeswax- meh.

A very engaging and unpredictable combination of comedy with realistic drama.

Seems like it’s gonna be oddly conventional for Bujalski and then kind of……really is and really isn’t?? I was sorta confused. But I liked it!

A surprisingly rewarding film with on point performances by Pearce, Smulders and in particular Corrigan who is simultaneously loveable and loathable as an aimless inheritor. The film wanders, but in a satisfying (not frustrating) way. One of the more interesting and indeed believable love triangles in recent cinema.

This script has some interesting moments and keeps you guessing at times. The actors do a good job with their roles. Overall I would recommend this movie.

It's essentially a romantic comedy with more depth and realism than it initially lets on. A pleasant surprise.

One of the most "WTF??" film scripts I have ever seen produced... it's hard to know what to make of this film, so random are its scenes and whimsical its characters. It's anybody's guess whether they were trying for comedy, romance or drama. The Ribisi character does not fit anywhere, hell even Corrigan's character does not fit, at least not into the same movie Pearce and Smulders were trying to be in. Not in the same universe. Every scene was a car crash... so at least it entertained... kinda.

Bujalski's most aesthetically competent film at the very least, but unfortunately he maybe loses some of his personality at the same time. This could easily pass for the recent work of his fellow mumblecore Austinite Bob Byington, which isn't such a bad thing (and considering this is sort of Bujalski's equivalent of Drinking Buddies, it just shows how much more talented than Swanberg he ultimately is). Could have used more of Corrigan's character and less of the Guy Pearce fitness stuff though.

This "No directing movie" has the problem, that I couldn't care less about those stupid characters, who find their way in the end to express themselfs by saying "I love you".... and everyone is dancing... wahahah! Just for fun: Imagine this being the storyline of a Bruckheimer-, Emmerich- or Schumacher-movie. We would all be happy to hate it.

For one of the most prominent indie innovators in the US, this was a disappointingly normal indie dramedy from Bujalski, and even for its type it wasn't all that well executed. Kevin Corrigan plays a quirky character very well and makes the picture reach a tolerable level of watchability. Guy Pearce and Cobie Smulders, on the other hand, fail to pop out at all. By the time the movie comes around to its expected romantic liaison between the leads, it feels unearned, unconvincing, and unmoving.

Didn't get the "results" I was expecting from the trailer. Yeah...I made a pun. None of the characters are relatable or endearing....actually, they are pretty annoying, which begs the question, Why would you want to spend any time watching them?

Pearce and Snmulders were particularly good. Generally enjoyable, but the concept with the rich guy Cupid whatever doesn't really work in the end.

Wanted to like it, but didn't click with me. Too much empty dialogue and the awkward scenes wasn't nailed hard enough. Decent cast though and there were scenes that worked. For me particularly the jogging scene was simple and nicely done. This was more a movie that 'could have been'. Too bad the result of Results (2015) was so uneven.

This one's about how the people who we pay to get us in shape are often a whole helluva lot more messed up than we are. Not a groundbreaking notion, and this isn't anywhere near as original as Bujalski's COMPUTER CHESS, but the director's still curious about and amused by his characters, and even if the film does run on a little long, it's fun just to hang around these people and watch them bounce off each other. Small-scaled but likable; I dig this Bujalski guy.

A deranged romcom that maybe doesn't go far enough in the deranged direction, but it's often pretty funny and wickedly awkward, and it explores these three characters in a wonderfully in-depth manner. Plus, the performances are all top notch.

Coming from veteran mumblecore bore Bujalski, the entertainment value of this is damn near miraculous. Too bad then that the story he sets up in the first half only halfway corresponds with the bizarre rom-com formula of the second. But if he continues in this direction he might just fill in the gap left by the implosion of Cameron Crowe.

Maybe the most realistic characters, coupled remarkably with realistic actions and motives, I've seen since Pluto Nash. Ok, bad example. Personal training isn't my thing, but Guy Pearce going up, over and around on a pull-up bar is. Surprise! Kevin Corrigan did a Q&A after and was awesomely mellow and hilarious. Worth a watch.
