The gore is disgusting, the finale is insane and Christopher Lambert is barely comprehending scenes. Every single cop in this movie barfs everywhere seeing anything gross save for our Lambert. There is a gross scene and people are freaking out and Lambert waits a beat and dead pans out a "he is trying to shock us" The champagne of Se7en knockoffs.

The story itself has potential, but the way they worked it out was terrible at times. The acting was sometimes just awfull and prudhomme's family business isn't even of any relevance to the rest of the story so why do they drag that into it? It really annoyed me. Then the ending scene was just horrible. Stupid roofscene with that plastic doll as a baby. Could(should) have been much better.. Pitty

Resurrection is endlessly accused of being a carbon-copy of Se7en. This accusation isn't completely fair, because it does a number of things differently. Resurrection craftily avoids anything resembling mood or atmosphere and defiantly waves off any comparison to Se7en by eschewing the excellent cast, fine acting and visceral memorability for which the latter is so well known. Ultimately, comparing this turkey to Se7en is like comparing the scribbles on a public restroom wall to Shakespeare.
