Return from the Ashes

Starts out very intriguingly indeed, but then the whole concentration-camp thing disappears into the woodwork and it becomes a rather conventional murder mystery. The cast is good anyway, with Schell and Eggar nicely repellent, Ingrid Thulin bearing the full weight of the world on her shoulders and Herbert Lom his usual cool self (sort of like a suave continental version of Martin Balsam).
