The classic tale of 'Peter Pan' continues in Disney's sequel 'Return to Never Land'. In a world besieged by World War II, Wendy, now grown up, tries to give her own children hope by telling them of her magical experiences with Peter Pan in Never Land. However, Jane, Wendy's 12-year-old daughter, sees it all as make believe and refuses to believe in the tales. That is, until the villainous Captain Hook mistakes her for Wendy and abducts her to Never Land... (imdb)

Typical fare as a child. Yawn.

Yeah, everything from the first movie is bastardized and over the top in this one, the Ned Flanders effect I think they call it? (At least in this one there was no racism. But only because they removed POC characters altogether?) Jane looks and sounds like a 39 years old woman with a growth disorder pretending to be a kid and that is more creepy than endearing in any way. She seems like some awkward self-insert.

an okay, but not great sequel to Peter Pan, but if you want a superior sequel watch "Hook"

Horrible story, terrible songs, the characters look weird, the humor is certainly more low brow, and worst of all the lost boys and Peter Pan are not innocent kids having fun, they are just annoying. Everyone and everything is just dumber this time around. Oh yeah that octopus was super lame.

Return to Neverland is an unnecessary but serviceable sequel to one of Disney's best known classics. Despite Disney's stellar back catalogue of animated classics, they've never had much success with sequels. And content wise little effort or thought has gone into this film. But this is certainly watchable and children who love Peter Pan will no doubt find enjoyment here. Despite the lacklustre story telling and the notably awful music, this is beautifully animated and an average Disney sequel.

Either an early example of Disney's ability to extend an existing story or an example of why studios should leave sequels with no real story alone. (As you can tell I favour the latter). Typical Pan action but doesn't have the fun or characterisations of the original and the story is too weak

For a kids movie, it takes on the serious subject of growing up during war with surprising delicacy and tact. Unlike most Disney sequels, this one doesn't dissapoint.

Awful, awful, AWFUL music. Can someone dig up Howard Ashman, because we seriously need him. Jane is also a really loathsome protagonist.

One of the best animated sequels ever, and the best adaptation of Peter Pan. By placing the story in the context of WWII, it raises the stakes to make the film powerful. Highly recommended.
