Richard III

Not to be confused with the British film Richard III (1911), which is under half an hour long. Richard III (1912) is the French-American adaptation which came a year later, and which runs closer to an hour. A solid and half-way a impressive production for the time. Only-halfway, though, as it lacks that little bit extra to really dazzle you, and the acting doesn't do all that much to enhance the experience. Only serviceable and respectable for the parts played. Same can be said about the film.
