When Collins and his men attack the stage they kill Lucky's bride. When Lucky spots Steve Langdon, a dead ringer for Collins, he arrests him. The identity of Charles Starrett confusing people, as the ranger looks exactly like a local outlaw. That gives a lot of room for his lovable sidekicks Russell Hayden & Cliff Edwards to try and save him, which made Riders of the Badlands (1941) a rather fun B-western.
