Bob Steele is the star and they got both Al St. John & Gabby Hayes as characters to back it up! Yet, they don't get much out of this one even if a bunch of friends get killed in the process. Just your typical non-focus direction from Robert N. Bradbury just shooting a formula western without establishing the personalities and terrible editing. I wonder if he ever made a good movie? He directed some of John Wayne's worst films and he can't even make his own son (Steele) look like a capable hero.
